A clear status. A controlled boundary.

ScaryCon Lab is being prepared as a separate, controlled technical environment. Today, this page only communicates status. It does not sell tickets or accept registrations, payments, credentials, identity documents, challenge submissions or uploads.

Cybersecurity, with the lights turned down.

ScaryCon is ScaryByte’s annual Halloween cybersecurity event for professionals, creators and students, exhibitors, and speakers.

The experience connects credible expert context, supervised hands-on practice, capability discovery and real conversations—inside a deliberately theatrical Halloween world.

Atmosphere without ambiguity.

Costumes and disguises are encouraged, never mandatory. Identification, accessibility and safety rules still apply.

Follow the signal.

Each hub has a distinct job. Together they move people from context, through practice, into useful discovery.

Capability in the open

Real-time, visual-only Three.js adaptation of the ScaryCon CTF world when the browser can render it safely. It is not a challenge, target or access route.

A haunted cyber world is taking shape.

The ScaryCon CTF Zone is being developed as a controlled virtual cybersecurity environment. Access, accounts, challenges, targets and submissions remain closed.

No opening date is announced. An approved access path, authorised scope and participant rules will be stated clearly before any virtual experience is made available.

The experience opens only when the environment is ready.

Atmosphere can feel unpredictable. The operating boundary cannot. Any future lab launch must make authorised scope, participant rules and support routes unmistakable.

  1. Authorised scope

Approved targets and permitted activity must be named before participation begins.

  2. Participant safeguards

Access, privacy, safety and support controls must be operational—not implied.

  3. Clear launch signal

Until an approved route is published, this site remains information only.
